The Media Academy welcomes individuals aged 8 - 25 years old, and is located at our Made in Kent Radio studios at Bluewater Shopping Centre.
The media academy offers individuals a deep dive into the realms of media and presenting, making it an ideal choice for those eager to pursue a career in media or enhance their presentation abilities. Participants will master the operation of the radio studio, familiarise themselves with playout systems, craft engaging content, hone their interview techniques, and even broadcast their own material live on the radio.
These courses are meticulously designed to equip students with lifelong skills that will serve them well as they seek employment or valuable experience in the future.

Our Media Academy is led by seasoned professionals in Radio and TV, who have gained experience with renowned organizations such as Global Radio, Disney, and Nickelodeon. Each session features a workshop that offers practical media training in a genuine studio setting, enriched by extensive insights into the media industry. From radio presenting to social media capabilities, you will acquire the essential skills to excel in this ever-evolving field.
No prior experience is required.
Students will have the chance to complete multiple modules in media, and receive certificates for achieving milestones. Each session is 1 hour and includes hands on experience in every session.
