Made in Kent Radio – General Competition Terms & Conditions 1. The Promoter 1.1 – The promoter of all competitions is Made in Kent Radio, based at Bluewater Shopping Centre, and can be contacted at hello@madeinkent.co.uk. 2. General Terms & Conditions 2.1 – These General Terms & Conditions apply to all competitions run by or in partnership with Made in Kent Radio. 2.2 – Each competition may also have Specific Terms & Conditions outlining the details such as how to enter, eligibility, start and end dates, and prize information. 2.3 – You must read these General Terms & Conditions alongside any Specific Terms & Conditions. 2.4 – We may update these General Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always apply, from the date it is published. 2.5 – By entering a competition, you agree to be bound by both the General and Specific Terms & Conditions. 3. Competition Entry 3.1 – Unless otherwise stated, entrants must be UK residents aged 18 or over at the time of entry. Proof of identity and age may be required. 3.2 – Entrants must use their real name. Only one entry per person, unless otherwise stated. 3.3 – Only one entry per household is allowed per competition unless stated otherwise. 3.4 – Employees of Made in Kent Radio, their immediate families, and any associated prize partners are not eligible to enter. 3.5 – We may request proof of eligibility before awarding any prize. 3.6 – By entering, you agree that we may publish your first name and hometown on air, on our website, or via social media if you win. If you take part in a competition on air, you also consent to your conversation being used for promotional purposes. 3.7 – Prize winners may be asked to take part in publicity photos or videos. By entering, you grant us the right to use this content in any media, unless you request anonymity when entering. 3.8 – Anonymity requests may limit your eligibility for some competitions. 3.9 – To ensure fairness, you may not enter if you have won a Made in Kent Radio competition in the past 3 months. 3.10 – We reserve the right to disqualify incomplete, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate entries. 3.11 – We accept no responsibility for lost or incomplete entries due to technical issues. 3.12 – No purchase is necessary, but standard internet or call charges may apply. 3.13 – Winners selected via draw will be chosen randomly using a secure system. No correspondence will be entered into 3.14 – Where winners are selected by presenters, the presenter’s decision is final. 3.15 – We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any competition at our sole discretion. 3.16 – If a competition is cancelled, we will not provide alternative prizes. 3.17 – We accept no liability for any loss, cost, or damage arising from entering or winning a competition, including third-party prize fulfillment. 4. Prizes 4.1 – Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered. 4.2 – Winners will be contacted within 25 days of the competition closing, either: a) On air b) By phone c) By email d) In writing 4.3 – Prizes will be sent to UK addresses only, usually via standard postal delivery unless otherwise stated. It’s your responsibility to keep us updated with current contact details. 4.4 – We are not responsible for prizes lost, delayed, or damaged in transit. 4.5 – We may require proof of identity and address before releasing a prize. 4.6 – We make no guarantees about the quality or condition of prizes provided by third parties. 4.7 – Additional conditions may apply to certain prizes, which will be outlined in the Specific Terms. 5. Event & Concert Ticket Competitions 5.1 – Winners must be able to attend the specified event at the stated date and venue. Travel is not included unless otherwise stated. 5.2 – If a meet-and-greet is part of the prize, it is subject to the availability of the artist or celebrity. No alternative will be offered if missed. 5.3 – Only one entry per household is allowed per competition. 5.4 – We are not responsible if the event is cancelled or rescheduled. No alternatives or compensation will be provided. 5.5 – Some winners may need to collect their tickets in person. Failure to do so by the specified deadline may result in forfeiting the prize. 6. Legal 6.1 – These terms, along with all promotional materials, form the full agreement for participation in our competitions. 6.2 – All competitions are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts
